I have followed Tara Pringle Jefferson for 3+ years, and when it comes to self-care I believe the way that Tara describes and it approaches it really makes sense. She makes the often overused term “self-care” real and approachable and breaks through the cliches.
Tara is a Writer, Speaker and Self-Care Coach who holds a Masters in Human Development. She is also a mother of two and we talk about the importance of self-care for mothers in this episode. Tara is eloquent and knowledgeable. The way she discusses self-care really brings it home for me. I hope you feel the same way.

As a sneak peek of what you can expect, we’re talking:
- About the importance of knowing our care instructions (gosh…this one landed with me hard!)
- How there are different types of self-care; the pampering side but also the self-respect and boundaries element which can be harder to implement
- How when we’re setting boundaries, it isn’t the setting that is important, but the enforcing of them
- How we can support ourselves in new motherhood
We also discuss Tara’s love of her balm from Addictive Apothecary. You can find that here: https://addictiveapothecary.com/
